Sport Activates Community Life


Sport is now part of everyday city life in Hong Kong. From a placemaking perspective, it does more than promote physical well‑being or respond to an ageing population. It brings people back into shared spaces, helps them reconnects with their surroundings, and encourages neighbours with similar interests to meet and interact - energising communities from the ground up.

  • CCG Pickleball Challenge 2026

    CCG Pickleball Challenge 2026 - the first large scale pickleball tournament ever held within a shopping mall in Hong Kong - took place at Tsuen Wan’s D·PARK over Easter. The event reflects Chinachem Group’s placemaking commitment by transforming extensive mall space into a lively sports arena, where people of all ages can stay active, have fun and connect through one of the world’s fastest growing sports.

  • CCG Tsuen Wan Games

    To support the National Games and the “Sports for All” movement, Chinachem Group presented the “Chinachem Tsuen Wan Games”, turning D·PARK  into an all ages sports arena. It encouraged seniors and young people to play side by side, strengthening family bonds and fostering an inclusive community through sport.
