In response to the growing challenges of an ageing population, Chinachem Group is dedicated to fostering age-friendly communities. For the second consecutive year, we partnered with our Group member, Pine Care, to support The Jade Club’s Young at Heart Festival. Through meaningful engagement, we advocate the concept of “Ageing Happily”, empowering seniors to enjoy a rewarding later life built on financial security, good health, strong social connections and a sense of purpose.

Event Highlights

The third edition of the festival, themed “Exploring Happiness in Aging: Unlock the Possibilities of a Century of Life”, was held at D·PARK in Tsuen Wan, our shopping mall and a true Playground for All. The event featured vibrant performances, inspiring talks, interactive experiences and community booths, showcasing the energy, talent and wisdom of older adults – a vivid interpretation of the limitless possibilities in later life.

  • Stories that Inspire: Happiness Has No Formula

    The opening ceremony featured a captivating performance by a ventriloquism instructor alongside four residents from Pine Care’s Pine Care Residence. These seniors also shared their personal stories, delivering an important message: there is no universal “secret” to a happy centenarian life – each individual can discover their own unique path to ageing well.

  • Exploring New Horizons

    A variety of activities encouraged seniors to try new experiences, uncover fresh interests and embrace life from different perspectives. Chinachem Group volunteers also joined hands to support booth operations and share joyful moments with participants.

Every senior deserves the right to a fulfilling later life. We are committed to supporting residents’ physical, mental, social well-being and spiritual needs, while redefining traditional care models to offer more choices. At the same time, we aim to break negative stereotypes about care homes, creating an environment where seniors can live with vitality, independence and dignity.
