Chinachem Group Publishes Inaugural Sustainability Report
Chinachem Group today publishes its first Sustainability Report, detailing the sustainability commitments, management approach and performance of the Group, including the property management subsidiaries and Nina Hospitality, during the period from 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020.
With a view to increasing the Group’s transparency, Sustainability Report 2019-2020 is prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards: Core option, and with reference to the Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Guide in Appendix 27 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
Published under the theme of “Creating a Liveable and Sustainable City”, the Report reflects the Group’s long-standing commitment to shaping a liveable and sustainable community in Hong Kong. With the Triple Bottom Line in mind—People, Prosperity and Planet, the Group endeavours to formulate a Sustainability Development Framework working towards realising the United Nation’s 17 wide-ranging Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
