Chinachem Group as title sponsor of Pretty Heart Premiere Gala in support of arts and cultural development

Chinachem Group (the Group) is pleased to be the title sponsor of the Premiere Gala of the film Pretty Heart, in support of the Academy of Film of the Hong Kong Baptist University (AFHKBU) and local emerging filmmakers. Hosting the event on the eve of DSE results announcement, the Group and AFHKBU have invited around 90 DSE and underprivileged students to watch the screening to cheer them on.

The film was produced by over 30 students and graduates of AFHKBU in association with industry professionals, including Mr. Ng Yu, BBS, Mr. Fruit Chan and Mr. O Sing Pui as advisors and producers, and seasoned screenwriter Mr. Lai Chun to share his insights. The students have gained valuable experience through taking on various positions, such as directing, screenwriting, cinematography, production design, post-production and acting. Following this event, the Group will continue to explore more collaboration opportunities with AFHKBU and the film industry at large to promote the development of the local film industry.
