Chinachem Group’s latest landmark in Wan Chai – the Grade A commercial building One Hennessy – has secured a lease for more than 20,000 square feet of space from well-known fitness group Pure Fitness, with a signing ceremony being held recently. The two floors of the Pure Fitness flagship store are interconnected, making the area more spacious. It will offer a convenient new personal care hotspot for Pure Fitness customers to enjoy achieving a healthy new life experience.

Located at 1 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, One Hennessy occupies a very advantageous geographical location within the central business districts of Admiralty and Wan Chai, being close to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, world-class hotels and fabulous restaurants. Its development involved a total project investment of HK$1.68 billion. One Hennessy has 30 floors spanning approximately 315,000 square feet of gross area in total and 12,000 square feet of lettable gross area per floor. Total lettable area reaches around 253,000 square feet for work spaces, offering full sea views on the upper floors, and 28,000 square feet for retail shops on G/F – 2/F. Some 70% of the office space has currently been leased, with flagship tenants including Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, which has selected One Hennessy as its Hong Kong headquarters. The bank has leased more than 100,000 square feet of space across eight top level floors, showing its confidence in the building.

There are bicycle parking spaces and electric vehicle chargers in the car park to encourage tenant employees to use more environment-friendly methods of commuting to work, while the roof uses low-absorptive materials and vegetation to reduce the heat island effect.
