The Launch of One & Two Chinachem Central

Chinachem Group today announced the launch of One & Two Chinachem Central, the twin office towers situated in the heart of Central Hong Kong, offering nearly 100,000 square feet of prime quality commercial floor space.

One & Two Chinachem Central, abutting Des Voeux Road Central, is a milestone commercial project which is part of the Group’s regeneration of office buildings in the traditional Central Business District (CBD), to address the rising need for modern, efficient and quality commercial spaces. One & Two Chinachem Central have received an overwhelmingly positive market response with a 100% leasing rate of Tower I, and about 60% of Tower II, which is due to complete in the second quarter of 2017. The total investment in this redevelopment project exceeds HK$1.0 billion. Major tenants of One & Two Chinachem Central include The Executive Centre, a medical group, a Mediterranean restaurant, and a Korean beauty retailer.

The unique design combines modern architectural aesthetics with practicality. The twin-towers’ bright white colour features an exterior bamboo-inspired motif, giving them a distinctive appearance which will become a new landmark of Central.

The office buildings feature a column-free interior, highly efficient floor space and sustainable building design with LEED’s Silver certification, which help businesses maximizing efficiency in the use of office space and resources.

One & Two Chinachem Central is part of the Group’s strategy in commercial property redevelopment on Hong Kong Island, which has concentrated on the northern shore of Hong Kong in districts such as Central and Wan Chai. The next flagship redevelopment project is One Hennessy building at Hennessy Road in Wan Chai, which involves an investment of over HK$1.68 billion, offering more than three hundred thousand square feet of quality commercial space to the district.
