Chinachem Group’s Vaccination Lucky Draw Registration opens on 5 July

Background

To support the citywide drive to encourage more people to get vaccinated, Chinachem Group (“The Group”) has created a lucky draw with dozens of alluring prizes which will open for registration at 9:00 am tomorrow. Committed to being a responsible corporate citizen and creating positive value for society, the Group believes that driving up the vaccination rate will help build an immunity barrier for Hong Kong and speed up the relaxation of anti-epidemic measures, as well as a return to a healthy economy. Members of the public can register for the draw at luckydraw.chinachemgroup.com, where they can also find details of the prizes as well as terms and conditions.

All eligible participants must be Hong Kong residents aged 18 or above who have received two doses* of a COVID-19 vaccine in Hong Kong on or before 31 August 2021, including those who have already received both doses at the time of this announcement. Participants are required to register and submit their applications through the lucky draw website which is open from 9:00 am on 5 July to noon on 1 September. Winners will be randomly drawn on 8 September 2021 using a system designed by an external service provider, PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited (PwC HK). The result will be announced on the lucky draw website and will be published in am730 and The Standard on 17 September 2021. All winners will be notified individually via email and SMS to the mobile phone number given at the time of registration. An independent auditing firm, FCC and Partners CPA Ltd will perform procedural checks on the key processes and systems control relating to the lucky draw.

 

At the time of prize redemption, each winner is required to prove his/her eligibility by presenting the original Hong Kong Identity Card and the original or electronic record of his/her COVID-19 vaccinations issued by the Department of Health of the Hong Kong SAR Government.

 

*Persons previously infected with COVID-19 will be eligible after having received one dose of COVID-19 vaccine under the same conditions.
