Chinachem Hand in Hand to Promote Social Integration

Background

Committed to participating in charity, facilitating social integration and harmonious society, Chinachem Group has sponsored “2017 Chinachem Run for Brightness” for four years consecutively. More than 400 students from 14 primary schools and 50 people with visual impairment joined the competition, and successfully raised 1.2 million HK dollars to donate to Hong Kong Blind Sports Federation (HKBSF) this year.

Organized by HKBSF, “2017 Chinachem Run for Brightness” took place in Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground on 25th March, 2017. Dr Kung, Chairman of Chinachem, Ms Lau, Executive director, and Joseph Leung, Senior Consultant, represented the group to donate 400 thousand HK dollars at the kick-off ceremony to support HKBSF. “Chinachem Run for Brightness” aims to promote and implement the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities by the United Nations, allowing disabled people enjoy equal human rights and freedom without discrimination in society.
