20 Sep 2018

Part of Chinachem's drive to actively facilitate social harmony, the Group has fully supported different programmes for ethnic minorities in Hong Kong. One such programme is the “Swimming Class for Non-Chinese Women” by Caring for Ethnic Minorities Organisation, which provides an opportunity for non-Chinese women to learn how to swim. Dr. Kung Yan Sum ,the Chairman of Exco meetings of the Group, and Chairman of the Chinachem Charitable Foundation, attended the kick-off ceremony as the Guest of Honour.
The Caring for Ethnic Minorities Organisation (CEMO) was formally established in 2018. It is committed to promoting national integration and providing activities, training and employment opportunities for ethnic minorities living in Hong Kong, to further help them integrate into Hong Kong society.
